Gillian is an experienced senior researcher who has worked across both academia and industry. She has high level empirical and analytical skills developed over more than 20 years working in public sector and commercial organisations, as well as in academic research roles. Gillian's current project work relates to the development of for-purpose organisations and their role in society and the economy. Allied to this is research on new ways of financing social enterprises and innovative social programs. Gillian also has experience in research on the delivery of aged care services, and was a founding member of the UTS Aging Research Collaborative.
